Secure Proctoring Solution

Proctorio is an online proctoring tool with test monitoring and several other features to ensure academic integrity. Faculty will have a variety of options for how they can set up their online proctored exams, and a report will be provided flagging any suspicious behavior. Proctorio lets you change settings at any time to highlight just the things that you are interested in within the gradebook.

Get Started

Proctorio is available for all faculty teaching Online courses at UTSA. Enroll in the new self-paced Academic Integrity & Proctoring Blackboard course. Developed by Academic Innovation in partnership with faculty representatives, this course will take you through the fundamentals of academic integrity, highlight recommended test settings, cover UTSA supported originality and proctoring tools, and more.

About Proctorio

Student Privacy

Proctorio settings are determined by the instructor. All recordings are only accessible to the instructor of the course and not viewable by Proctorio, teaching assistants, or other UTSA staff. Proctorio is a web-browser extension and does not receive full access to a user’s PC. The extension may be uninstalled and reinstalled only when needed if preferable. Proctorio’s certifications include the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
