Web Browser
UTSA currently uses the Canvas learning management system. Canvas relies on your Internet browser to display content. It is important that you configure your browser correctly so it will function properly.
Recommended Browser Settings
- Enable JavaScript in your browser
- Enable Cookies for UTSA’s Canvas site
- Enable pop-up windows for UTSA’s Canvas site

Honorlock
Honorlock is an online proctoring tool with test monitoring available for all faculty teaching Online courses at UTSA. Please note that Honorlock is a web-browser extension and does not receive full access to a user’s PC. The extension may be uninstalled and reinstalled only when needed if preferable. To utilize Honorlock, your laptop or desktop computer must meet the technical requirements listed:

Labster offers interactive, virtual lab simulations that can be used in a variety of scientific disciplines. Labster also integrates with Blackboard, so no download is required! The simulation is compatible with Apple, Windows, and Chromebook. Below are the recommended settings:
