RESOLVED - Pearson MyLab and Mastering

[Resolved – 4/21/2022 9:20 PM] Academic Innovation has implemented a fix and the issue with Pearson content links has been resolved. If you continue to encounter issues with Pearson, please open a support ticket. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

[Original Alert] Academic Innovation is investigating an issue with Pearson MyLab and Mastering that is causing Pearson content links to redirect users to the Blackboard Activity Stream. We are currently working with Blackboard and Pearson to resolve this issue. We apologize for the inconvenience.

404 Error When Downloading Office Files Using Microsoft Edge

Academic Innovation has received reports of Blackboard displaying 404 errors when downloading Microsoft Office files using the latest version of Microsoft Edge. This issue is due to a new feature released in Edge that opens Office files in the browser. To get around this error, you will need to disable this feature using the following steps:

  1. Open the Edge menu by clicking the three dots in the top right.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Downloads from the left menu.
  4. Set “Open Office files in the Browser” to Off

Blackboard Collaborate Ultra Upgrade

Start Time: Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 1:00 AM CT
End Time: Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 5:00 AM CT

Description:
On Thursday, January 13, 2022, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra will be upgraded to the latest release. This upgrade will occur from 1:00 am to 5:00 am CDT. Blackboard engineers will try to minimize downtime and do not plan on using the entire maintenance window. However, they will use the whole maintenance window if necessary. Collaborate Ultra users will experience intermittent availability during this maintenance window.
