Welcome PaCE Students!

Welcome to Digital Learning at The University of Texas at San Antonio! To access your online PaCE courses, you’ll be using Canvas, UTSA’s Learning Management System. If you’re a current UTSA student, faculty, or staff member, you can login to Canvas with your myUTSAID and Passphrase. If you don’t have a myUTSAID, you’ll need set your Canvas password using the steps below. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: At this time, PaCE students must login using the link on this page. If you attempt to login using utsa.instructure.com, you’ll receive an invalid username/password error.

Login to Canvas

How-To Guides

NOTE: If you’re participating in the Paralegal program, you will need to login to Canvas with your myUTSAID and Passphrase. 

  1. Navigate to Canvas. 
  2. Click Forgot Password.
  3. Enter the email address you provided during registration. 
  4. Click Request Password.
  5. You will receive an automated email from “Canvas @ UTSA” (notifications@instructure.com). Click the link provided in the email. 
  6. Enter your new password and click “Update Password.”
  7. Login to Canvas with your new password. 

Once you login to Canvas, you can find your online PaCE course listed on your course dashboard. Paralegal courses will open four days prior to the start date, and all other courses will open one day prior to the start date.

At this time, PaCE students will need to login to the Canvas Student app using the “QR Code for Mobile Login” method. For instructions on how to do this, please visit the “How do I log in to the Canvas Student app on my mobile device with a QR code?” Canvas Guide.
