Dear Faculty,
We’re excited to bring several major updates to Padlet this summer. Please be aware, that this update will break all current Padlet links in your course and will require you to relink your Padlets for the upcoming semesters. While this process is very inconvenient, this update will noticeably improve your experience managing Padlet in your Blackboard courses and will make integration seamless for faculty and students going forward.
Below are the updates you will see beginning Friday, May 20th.
- Padlet can now be linked directly from Blackboard
- Automatic account creation for students who click a Padlet link in Blackboard
- Students’ names will be recorded with their posts if using a Blackboard Padlet link
- Making names public can be turned on/off using the Attribution setting
- Integrated Blackboard Padlet links no longer break after course copy
- New expanded post feature from Padlet for easier review of posts
