The new link checker in Qwickly allows instructors to easily check for and correct broken web links in their courses. When a broken link is detected, instructors will be prompted to enter the correct URL. Please note that this tool only scans links created using “Build Content > Web Link.” Links created via the content editor will not be checked.
Disclaimer: Due to the design of some websites, the link checker may show some links as working when they are not. For this reason, we recommend checking course links at the start of every semester.
Instructions
- Login to Blackboard.
- Click Tools.
- Click on the Qwickly Course Tools.
- Click Check Links.
- Select your courses.
- Click Check Links.
